How It Works

Three phases.
One vision, brought to life.

01

Design Consultation

An onsite visit, professional laser measurements, design direction, and photorealistic 3D renderings of your project. Every detail decided before manufacturing begins.

02

Custom Manufacturing

Production through our vetted international partners with third-party quality inspection, marine insurance, and a controlled customs process — managed end-to-end.

03

Independent Installation

Materials delivered to your property. Installation performed by your chosen RBQ-licensed contractor — under a separate contract for clean accountability.

Our Approach

The look of $100K work. At a price that respects what the work is actually worth.

Traditional Quebec custom shops deliver beautiful work — at prices driven primarily by local labour cost. The materials themselves account for less than a third of what most clients pay.

We restructured the equation. The design lives in Montréal — your project, your space, your specifications, our hands. The manufacturing happens through carefully vetted international partners who build to international quality standards. The labour cost comes down. The quality does not.

Every project is custom: measured to the millimetre, finished to your selections, hardware specified by name. The only difference from a Quebec custom shop is where the build happens.

The $2,000 Fee, Explained

Real design deserves real compensation.

  1. i.

    What it covers

An onsite consultation, a return visit for full laser measurements, design direction and finish selection, professional 3D renderings of your project, full manufacturing specifications, and an itemized quote you own regardless of next steps.

  2. ii.

    Why we charge it

Companies offering "free quotes" are either selling stock product where there's no design work to do, or burying the design cost somewhere in inflated pricing later. We do real design — 15 to 25 hours per project — and we charge for it.

  3. iii.

    What happens to it

If you proceed to the materials phase, the full $2,000 is credited toward your project. Functionally, it's a deposit that filters for serious clients. If you don't proceed, we retain it as payment for the work delivered.

How We Protect Your Project

The work behind the work.

— 01

Professional Laser Measurement

Every dimension captured to the millimetre, accounting for floor variance, wall plumb, and ceiling height differences.

— 02

Photorealistic 3D Renderings

You see your finished space before manufacturing begins. Finishes, proportions, hardware — approved in writing first.

— 03

Vetted Manufacturing Partners

— 04

Third-Party Quality Control

Independent inspectors verify every order before it ships, with photo and video documentation of finishes, hardware, and packaging.

— 05

All-Risk Marine Insurance

Every shipment fully insured from factory floor to your front door. Transit risk is our responsibility, not yours.

— 06

Licensed Canadian Customs Broker

Every entry filed professionally. Duties, surtaxes, and certifications verified in advance — no border surprises.

RBQ-Licensed Installation Network

Independent contractors we trust, contracted directly by you. Clean accountability — design and supply on our side, install on theirs.

— 09

Clear Written Agreements

Real contracts. Real terms. No verbal handshakes, no surprise costs, no shifting scope.

Common Questions

Answers, before you ask.

Yes — when the supplier and specs are right. The materials we use (solid wood, plywood, branded hardware like Blum or Hettich, professional finishes) are often the same components used by local custom shops. The difference isn't materials, it's where the labour happens. Our role is selecting partners with the engineering capacity to build to international quality standards, then verifying every order through independent third-party inspection before it ships.

From signed agreement to finished install: typically 17 to 22 weeks. Roughly 2-3 weeks for design and renderings, 8-10 weeks of manufacturing, 4-6 weeks of ocean freight and customs clearance, and 2-4 weeks of installation by your independent contractor. We build a realistic buffer into every timeline and communicate proactively if anything changes.

In Québec, residential installation work requires a valid licence from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). We operate strictly as the design and supply side, which keeps our accountability — and yours — clear. You'll sign a separate installation contract with an independent RBQ-licensed contractor. We can refer trusted installers from our network, or you can engage someone you already know.

Every shipment is fully insured under all-risk marine insurance. Upon delivery, your installer inspects every item against the packing list within five business days. Any damage or missing pieces gets documented with photos and reported immediately, and we coordinate replacement directly with the manufacturer and freight provider. This is built into our process from day one.

Because real design takes 15-25 hours of work per project — laser measurement, design direction, 3D renderings, sourcing coordination, and manufacturing specifications. Companies that offer free quotes are either selling stock products or burying that cost somewhere in inflated pricing. We do the work transparently, charge for it directly, and credit it fully toward your materials if you proceed.

Yes — provided they hold a valid RBQ licence and can read technical drawings in millimetres. We can refer installers from our trusted network, or work with someone you already know. We provide the contractor with full technical drawings, finish schedules, hardware specifications, and 3D renderings so they have everything needed to install confidently.
